You see, every Sunday, my husband and I have a cookfest. We experiment with new recipes, (and virtually of the time it's smoked recipes because it'southward so fun to experiment with that cooking method!) that may or may not even pair well with each other. Sometimes, nosotros will make information technology a challenge and follow the rule that we have to utilise whatever we have in the business firm, and we Tin'T go to the grocery store.
I'g always amazed at what we can come with. But my All-time favorite recipe cosmos from this little game, is the

So back to the story…

Jessica, that was a whole pound of bacon.

I put my head down in shame, and my married man DIED with laughter.
I literally ate the entire pound. Thank the skilful Lord I didn't have a checkup at the doctor the adjacent day, because I'm sure I would have been put on "scout," for a potential heart attack.
And then we had a pound of bacon that we needed to use. Nosotros always have brown sugar & syrup on hand considering of my kids obsession with my v Minute Butternut Squash Pancakes, & and we wanted to put our new smoker to use.

Smoked Candy-coated Bacon
Smoked Candy-coated Bacon: A sweetness and salty side dish made in a smoker that's incredibly like shooting fish in a barrel, and will disappear before your eyes!
- 1 lb thick sliced bacon
- one/4 loving cup +/- maple syrup
- 1/4 cup +/- brown sugar
Forbid your screen from going dark

Remove rack(s) from the smoker

Preheat your smoker to 210 degrees

Lay out each piece of bacon on a slice of wax newspaper or a cookie sail

Drizzle maple syrup over each piece of salary, spreading the syrup evenly on each piece of bacon, using a basting brush

Sprinkle brown saccharide over each piece, spreading evenly with the brush

Transfer bacon to smoker racks
